So, what is Micro-needling?
⁕ Micro-needling is a procedure that uses a special pen that contains small needles to prick the skin to generate new collagen and skin tissue.
⁕ This process also allows for skin regeneration products to reach deep into the skin layer that is in need of restoration.
How can Balance Medical and Rehab help with my skin concerns?
⁕ Our office is offering Micro-needling procedures utilizing hyaluronic acid, Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and/or Regenerative Tissue Products.
⁕ We combine this with post-care skin products for optimal results.
What can I expect with Micro-needling?
⁕ A topical anesthetic will be applied to your skin before the treatment for comfort.
⁕ Your treatment will incorporate the use of hyaluronic acid, PRP, or regenerative tissue products depending on your desired results and treatment plan.
⁕ This process is minimally invasive, and takes about an hour in the office.
⁕ After the procedure your skin will be red, similar to a sunburn, for 1-2 days. You will also experience some skin peeling after your treatment. Your skin will be more sensitive to the sun following treatment.
⁕ You will receive specific post-procedure instructions regarding your skin care.
⁕ Treatments are performed every 4-6 weeks until desired results are achieved.
